Craig Campbell is a singer, pianist and songwriter working at the traditional end of contemporary country music. Born in Lyons, Georgia, Campbell was playing piano at the Baptist church he attended from the age of ten. Gospel was an ever-present sound in his childhood home, but it was country music that really captured his attention, notably the gospel-fuelled vocals of Travis Tritt. Campbell cut his teeth while still in his teens, forming the band Out of the Blue and playing in local bars.

In 2002, looking to pursue a full-blown career in music, Campbell made the move to Nashville and found a regular gig at Lower Broadway club The Stage and began performing on demos for other artists. After a nudge from Luke Bryan, Campbell began writing his own material, testing it at shows. When he met and married fellow artist Mindy Ellis he also began playing piano in her band.

That, in turn, led to a turn touring with Tracy Byrd. It was when Keith Stegall saw Campbell live, however, that the singer's career really began to accelerate. He landed a record deal with Bigger Picture and in 2011 released his self-titled debut album. Its lead single, 'Family Man', peaked at number 14 in the Country singles chart. The album 'Never Regret' followed in 2013, producing further Country Singles Chart top 40 tracks. Things took a turn for the worse when Big Picture folded in May 2014, but by the end of the year, he had secured a deal with Red Bow Records. Since the move Campbell has released the singles 'Tomorrow Tonight', 'Outskirts of Heaven' and the EP 'See You Try' with its single of the same name.
