Curtis Stigers Concert Tickets
Experience the magic of live music with Curtis Stigers! Curtis Stigers delivers unforgettable live performances featuring hit songs that will have you dancing and singing along every minute of the concert. Turning smooth, modern jazz ballads into radio-friendly, coffee table pop hits, Curtis Stigers provided a soundtrack to sophisticated, candlelight smooching in the early 1990s. A classically trained clarinetist and saxophonist, he was spotted playing and singing in a jazz trio in New York and signed to Arista Records, before hitting the charts with the hit single I Wonder Why. Debut album Curtis Stigers (1991) went on to reach multi-platinum status and the second single You're All That Matters To Me shot to Number 6 in the UK charts, as Stigers went on to work with Eric Clapton, Elton John, Rod Stewart and Bonnie Raitt.
His second album Time Was (1995) also fared well, but his popularity waned towards the end of the decade and he turned to slower jazz styles on later albums You Inspire Me (2003) and I Think It's Going To Rain Today (2005). In later years he appeared on the BBC TV show Just The Two Of Us singing with presenter Penny Smith, performed at the Proms in 2009 and had his track This Life used as the theme tune to HBO biker drama Sons of Anarchy.
