The year 2009 was massive for Dan Mangan. He released another EP, Roboteering, and his critically acclaimed album, Nice, Nice, Very Nice. Two singles from the album, "Road Regrets" and "Robots," received significant radio play in Vancouver and satellite radio stations like CBC Radio 3 and The Verge. Additionally, the album's success led Dan Mangan to receive multiple awards, including Artist of the Year (Verge Music Awards), iTunes Album of the Year and three Western Canadian Music Awards. That same year, Dan Mangan tickets became available for the first time overseas, including in the United Kingdom and Australia.
In 2011, Dan released his second studio album, Oh Fortune. The album was a hit among fans and critics alike, and Dan received three Western Canadian Music Awards for the album. Additionally, he was awarded the Alternative Album of the Year and New Artist of the Year awards at the 2012 Juno Awards and nominations for Songwriter of the Year and video of the Year.
Dan Mangan continued his mounting success throughout the mid-2000s with three more albums, Club Meds (2015), More or Less (2018) and Thief (2020). Additionally, Dan was invited to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2019 and continued his extensive tours throughout Canada, the UK, the USA, Germany, the Netherlands and Australia.
