His musical style has been inspired by many other prominent artists, including Metallica, The Misfits, Aerosmith and The Beatles. Hause debuted as a solo artist in 2009 and performed alongside Tim Barry, Jim Ward and Chuck Ragan on the Regan’s Revival Tour. 

Dave Hause premiered his first EP, Melanin 7, in 2010 before releasing his first full-length studio album, Resolutions, the following year. The album included one of his most notable songs, “Time Will Tell,” the music video of which paid homage to the short film The Big Shave. Following the release of Resolutions, Dave Hause became available in the United States and internationally as Hause began touring extensively in support of his solo album. His second album, Devour, debuted in 2013. Dave Hause released his hit single, “Seasons Greetings From Ferguson,” to address police violence against the African American community and the protests following the shooting of Michael Brown. 

In 2017, Dave Hause released his third solo album, Bury Me in Philly, which was swiftly embraced by critics and fans alike and received coverage from Rolling Stone. That same year, Hause created his band, The Mermaid, before touring with the new band across Europe and North America.
