Enjoy Danish indie rock with Efterklang tickets. The Danish indie rock band Efterklang was formed in Copenhagen in December of 2000. The group’s name means “remembrance” or “reverberations” in Danish. The group’s core members include Rasmus Stolberg, Casper Clausen and Mads Christian Brauer.
Past members include Rune Molgaard used to be a member but stepped back from the band in 2007 and Thomas Husmer, who played drums for the band until 2011. When the band plays live, they feature a live band on stage. The band’s first album, Tripper, was released in 2004. They worked with British producer Darren Alison on their second album, Parades, which was released in 2007 and was received very well critically, praised by several magazines such as “Stylus.”
Listen to a great performance live with Efterklang tickets. The group performed the complete album with The Danish National Orchestra at the Copenhagen Concert Hall in September 2008. In 2010, Efterklang released Magic Chairs, which was named IMPALA’s European Independent Album of the Year.
Piramede was released in 2012. In support of the album, the group performed with a live orchestra along with Budgie of Siouxsie and the Banshees in Australia, Ireland, Belgium, Scandinavia and the UK. The tour premiered at Sydney’s Opera House.
