Morillo toured internationally for a number of years during his career including residencies in Greece, Malta, Amsterdam, London, and Ibiza. He won Best House DJ at the DJ Awards three times (1998, 2001, and 2003) as well as Best International DJ in 2002, 2006, and 2009. Aged 49, Morillo was found dead at his home in Miami Beach, Florida, on September 1, 2020, of a drug overdose after being arrested for sexual battery.
