Eyehategod Concert Tickets
Rock the boat with Eyehategod tickets. Eyehategod is a heavy metal band from Louisiana known for blending hard rock with blues guitar. They are one of the more successful heavy metal bands to emerge from New Orleans and infuse their songs with deliberately strained vocals to achieve a uniquely anti-establishment sound.
Eyehategod was created by guitarist Jimmy Bower and drummer Joey LaCaze in 1988. Their first two demos got them signed to Century Media after the label was impressed by their raw, unadorned style. They then released their debut album In the Name of Suffering. Eyehategod was praised for its distinct incorporation of blues and country-rock sounds into their predominantly heavy metal style. The novelty of the group’s approach saw them tour widely with bands like White Zombie and Chaos UK.
Over the course of the next five years, Eyehategod gained notoriety in the industry for its rebellious and uncontrolled recording sessions. In one instance, the group smashed beer bottles in the studio to record the sound of breaking glass. They are a key influence on the development of the sludge metal genre, which brings metal and punk trends together to achieve an unabashedly chaotic sound. With Eyehategod tickets you can witness these innovators perform live, and partake in the wild antics for which they are so well-known.
