Grab your Fidlar tickets through TicketSmarter and get rowdy with a night of live punk rock music. Fidlar is a Los Angeles rock n’ roll quartet comprised of Zac Carper (vocalist/guitarist), Elvis Kuehn (guitarist/vocalist), Max Kuehn (drummer) and Brandon Schwartzel (bassist). Although you’d assume the band members first met each other while partying, Fidlar actually got their start in a music studio where Zac Carper worked. Carper recruited his friend Schwartzel, Elvis recruited his brother Max, and the band got their start in 2009. Stylized as FIDLAR, their name is an acronym for “Fuck It Dog, Life’s a Risk,” a phrase that frontman Zac Carper often heard his skater friends shout before doing tricks. Fidlar’s music celebrates the glory days of reckless youth and partying all night. With Fidlar tickets, you can watch them up close and be a part of the band’s rock n’ roll energy.

Fidlar gained recognition in the LA punk scene for their songs about cheap beer and bad drugs. Police often came to Fidlar’s live shows to break up the crowd when the mosh pits turned into fistfights. In 2011 they released their first EP DIYDUY. Fidlar band members partied in reckless abandon with songs that reflected their party lifestyle such as “Cocaine,” “Cheap Beer,” and “40 Oz. On Repeat.” Fidlar made it on Stereogum’s 40 Best New Bands of 2012 list and Rolling Stone named Fidlar “Band to Watch” in that same year. In 2013 they released their self-titled album, gaining musical success and landing gigs on late-night television shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Conan. They toured with the well-known garage rock band the Black Lips in 2013. They released their second album in 2015 titled Too which was influenced by frontman Carper’s complicated road to recovery from drug addiction.

As time went by, Fidlar evolved from their drug-induced party state. After struggling with drug addiction recovery, Fidlar found even more inspiration for new songs. The release of their album Almost Free (2019) still brings the same high energy as their previous albums but with more complexity. Almost Free is a reflection of their growth as much as it is an exploration of a dark past, struggling with drug addiction and life after recovery.
