Cosmo got his start in the business performing vocals on a handful of tracks for Boston guitarist Barry Goudreau’s self-titled solo album in 1980. After lending his voice to tracks like “Nothin’ to Lose” and “Leavin’ Tonight”, Cosmo and Goudreau formed the group, Orion the Hunter in 1983 and released a self-titled album with the group the following year featuring the hit song “So You Ran”. The group performed for a few years and in 1988, Cosmo was made the new lead singer for Boston who remained with until the mid-2000s. While with the legendary group, he recorded multiple albums including the platinum-selling Walk On in 1994. He continued to tour with the group until 2006, following their 2002 album, Corporate America.
