Full Of Hell gained their first serious attention, however, through their sophomore release Rudiments of Mutilation. Rudiments of Mutilation earned high praise from critics, in particular for its thought-provoking lyrics and high-speed instrumentation. In the years that followed, Full Of Hell enjoyed celebrated collaborations with the avant-garde bands Merzbow and The Body. Full Of Hell remain regarded as a heavy metal pioneer by critics and rock enthusiasts. Their 2017 album Trumpeting Ecstasy was listed on Exclaim! Magazine’s Top 10 Metal and Hardcore Albums.
