Garbage Concert Tickets
Get the full alternative rock experience when you secure your Garbage tickets today with TicketSmarter. Created by US musicians and producers Butch Vig (famed for his work on Nirvana's Nevermind), Steve Marker and Duke Erikson, the band originally consisted of just the three men. Finally realizing women were the fairer sex, they recruited Scottish popstrel, Shirley Manson, from her alternative rock band Angelfish and began recording. 1995 saw the release of their first album, the not-so imaginatively titled Garbage, which garnered much support on TV and radio, eventually going platinum in part thanks to hit singles Only Happy When It Rains and Stupid Girl.
Their second album, Version 2.0 followed in 1998 and used the same winning formula with singles Push It and I Think I'm Paranoid becoming massive overnight success stories - the latter making appearances on popular computer games, Gran Turismo 2 and Rock Band. Their third album, however, Beautiful Garbage didn't enjoy such a rise. After a European tour, they bagged the contract to perform the theme tune for the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough, working alongside composer David Arnold. Since then, the band has taken a number of breaks from recording, with Manson going solo in 2006. Grab Garbage tickets now so you can experience alternative music live and in person.
