The indie-folk-rock trio is composed of Goldfeather, Ethan Woods and Robby Bowen. Their music has a strikingly intense feel with a whimsical touch that combines the eclectic talents of the members. They have performed at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago and the Ecstatic Music Festival and MATA Interval Series in New York, among many other venues. Their debut release, Goldfeather EP came out in 2014. In 2016, Patchwork Quilt came out, and Water Damaged Valentines came out in 2019. Their more recent album is set to be released in 2022.
Originally from Minnesota, Goldfeather played violin in the Broadway production of Oklahoma!. She has also appeared on The Today Show, The Tonight Show and the 2019 Tony Awards. She has worked with artists like Lizzo, Courtney Love and Kimbra. The ETHEL quartet commissioned Goldfeather to compose their chamber pieces, and she is also the artistic director of Exceptet and Cipher.
