Potter’s legacy is long; she is originally from Vermont, where she formed her first group in 2002 with guitarist Scott Tournet and drummer Matt Burr. The band, called Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, stayed together until 2015. Some of their most beloved hits include “Ah Mary," "Ragged Company," and "Nothing But The Water.”

Grace Potter has also released solo work and collaborations with other artists including Kenny Chesney and The Rolling Stones. Grace Potter’s solo albums include Original Soul, Midnight, which came out just before the split of her band in 2015, and Daylight.
