Green Jelly formed in 1981 in Hollywood, quickly developing a regional following due to their onstage antics and self-deprecating comedy routines. They released their debut EP Let It Be in 1984, and by 1991 had been signed to the Zoo Entertainment label. The following year they released their album Cereal Killer, which contained their breakthrough hit “Three Little Pigs.” “Three Little Pigs” enjoyed widespread radio play, and was a top-five hit in the UK. The music video for the song earned an MTV Music Award and a Billboard Music Award nomination.
