Haken is a British metal and hard rock band formed in 2007 by former To-Mera guitarist and keyboard player Richard Henshall along with singer Ross Jennings, guitarist Matthew Marshall, keyboard player Peter Jones, bass player Thomas MacLean and drummer Raymond Hearne. Marshall and Jones departed in 2008 and guitarist Charlie Griffiths and keyboard player Diego Tejeida signed on, with MacLean leaving in 2013 to be succeeded by Conner Green.
Their debut album 'Aquarius' was released in 2010 followed by 'Visions' (2011) and 'The Mountain' (2013). Their 2016 release 'Affinity' reached number eleven on Billboard's Hard Rock Albums Chart and number 35 on the Top Rock Albums Chart. Concert album 'L-1VE' came out in 2018 followed by another studio album 'Vector'. In April 2018, Haken released their first live album titled 'L-1VE'. Their fifth studio album, 'Vector' was released in October 2018. Jennings also released a side-project album, "Eleventh Hour', with the band Novena. In 2019, Henshall also released a solo album, 'The Cocoon'. Haken released their sixth studio album in 2020, 'Virus'.
