iLe was asked to join her brothers’ budding group Calle 13 and went on to perform in numerous concerts with the band while still a teenager. Calle 13 quickly found a following, and while still in high school iLe toured internationally alongside high-profile artists like Susana Baca. At 18 iLe performed with Calle 13 at the Latin Grammy Awards, where she received high praise for her vocal range and interpretations.
