Bonham, a spicy and determined English drummer whose wicked rhythms and soulful swing captivates audiences across the globe, is the son of Led Zepplin drummer John Bonham. The firecracker musician has shared the stage with his father’s band at the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert held at London’s O2 Arena in 2007 and admits he could play drums skillfully at the tender age of five where he appeared with his father in the film The Song Remains the Same, performing on a smaller kit.

He joined his first band, Airrace at age 15 and later in 1985, joined the group Virginia Wolf (they successfully released two albums). Bonham has also toured the U.S. supporting British rock supergroup The Firm. He joined Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Paige for his Outrider album and tour and appeared alongside three surviving members of Led Zeppelin for the band’s 40th-anniversary concert in New York City.

Additionally, he has appeared at the Moscow Music Peace Festival and formed his own band, Bonham in 1989. The band’s bubbly, blues/rock debut featured the singles “Wait for You” and “Guilty.” The group disbanded after its sophomore release Mad Hatter and the drummer concentrated on session work and guest appearances. Bonham reformed his band in 1994 and appeared in the movie Rock Star in 2001. He has also shared the stage with Ted Nugent, Even Seinfeld and Scott Ian. He has drummed for Paul Rodgers on the Grammy nominated Muddy Water Blues: A Tribute to Muddy Waters and impressively played at the Woodstock II music festival.
