Although technically founded in 2009, Jinjer considers their true formation to be in 2010 with the addition of vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk, who has been essential to their rise to legit metal stardom.

Shmayluk, along with bassist Eugene Abdukhanov, guitarist Roman Ibramkhalilov and drummer Vlad Ulasevich, have worked tirelessly to sharpen their sound, culminating in their first album Inhale, Don’t Breathe in 2012, as well as earning Best Ukrainian Metal Band in 2013. This success would only motivate them even further, quickly releasing their second album Cloud Factory in 2014 and venturing into the international touring scene for the first time.

Following the critical acclaim for their 2016 album King of Everything, Jinjer’s drive burned hotter than ever, burying themselves in the practice room once more. Their efforts would produce the 2019 EP Micro, which was received with enormous praise from both fans and critics, dominating many industry charts and radio station lists worldwide.
