Enjoy a hard rock performance with Jonathan Tyler tickets. Jonathan Tyler, who grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, formed his band Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights in 2007 in Dallas, Texas. Members of the band included Brandon Pinckard, who went by the name Kansas and Oklahoma transplants Nick Jay and Jordan Cain.
The band's first record, Hot Trottin’, was produced independently. The band played everywhere it could locally before beginning to travel, booking shows in Austin, Houston and elsewhere. The band was joined by vocalist Emotion Brown in May of 2007. The band began to be noticed in 2008 when it functioned as supporting acts for national bands such as Leon Russell, Deep Purple, The Black Crowes and others. That same year, the band the Dallas Observer named the band “Best Blues Act.”
See a great show that harkens back to Lynyrd Skynyrd with Jonathan Tyler tickets. The band released their second album, Pardon Me, nationally. The album spawned two singles, Pardon Me and Gypsy Woman, which hit the Top 100 on the U.S. Mainstream and U.S. Rock Billboard Chart.
Tyler lost the use of the name “Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights” due to a lawsuit. He continues to produce music today, including the 2020 album Underground Forever.
