Feel the funk with Kraak & Smaak tickets. Kraak & Smaak are an electronic funk trio from the Netherlands made up of members Wim Plug, Mark Kneppers and Oscar de Jong. They recorded their first songs in 2003, releasing their EPs Money In the Bag and Keep On Searching through Jalapeno Records later that year. Interest from various DJs saw the group’s songs enjoy significant radio play in the UK, and the band began touring widely across the US, UK and Australia.
In 2006 Kraak & Smaak released their debut full-length album, Boogie Angst, which featured several prominent electronic artists. They began touring the festival circuit, making celebrated appearances at South by Southwest, Bonnaroo and Coachella in particular. The band’s catchy yet soulful songs saw widespread use in television, most notably on the hit shows What About Brain? and Grey’s Anatomy.
Kraak & Smaak released their sophomore album Plastic People in 2008, which contained their hit single “Squeeze Me.” “Squeeze Me” was a runaway success, reaching the top ten on the Dutch pop charts and earning support from various celebrities including Kanye West.
