Lafayette Ballet Tickets

Enjoy a relaxing evening seeing your favorite ballet performance when you get your Lafayette Ballet Theatre tickets at TicketSmarter today. Lafayette Ballet Theatre was founded in 1982 in Lafayette, Louisiana. The city did not have a ballet school before this, so by not only founding the LBT and filling the city’s need for a classical ballet company in its artistic community, it also allowed the Theatre to provide dance education and community programs to the scene as well.

Dance Conservatory, LBT’s official school, was established the previous year and currently supplies 90 percent of the company’s dancers. Thanks to the ongoing support and love from the community, LBT has been able to lay the groundwork for the ballet company to take root in and flourish. They offer 28-week contracted positions to local artists and a long-term student scholarship program. Purchase your Lafayette Ballet Theatre tickets now and see a mesmerizing performance by this ballet troupe.

LBT is led by Shannon Heath and Mitzi Heath. The company has presented full-length classical story ballets for over three decades now and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Lafayette Ballet Theatre also has a special ticket program, entitled A Night at the Ballet, that is extensively complimentary to underprivileged children and adults. It also supports all of the educational programs that reach over 2,500 students in both the schools and the company.
