Ledisi Concert Tickets

Get your Ledisi tickets to experience true vocal talent live. Ledisi is a 12-time Grammy-nominated vocalist who was raised in Oakland, California. Her career in music spans almost two decades but her love of music began when she was a child. She was raised in a musical family and at the age of eight years old she began singing with the New Orleans Symphony. Ledisi later went on to study piano and opera at the University of California Berkley.

In the 90s, Ledisi helped form the musical group Anibade. They played soul music with jazz and hip-hop influences and received lots of acclaims locally but no commercial success. In 2000, Ledisi released her debut album Soulsinger: The Revival. Ledisi’s unparalleled vocals are evident in all of her albums, especially in her songs “Pieces of Me” and “Alright.”

Ledisi is talented outside of singing, too. She’s written a book and appeared in several films. One of the movies Ledisi starred in was the Oscar-nominated movie, Selma, where she portrayed the famous Gospel singer Mahalia Jackson. Ledisi’s got fame and talent in her bones.
