The lead single, "How Can I Erase the Pain," peaked at No. 1 on the R&B charts and led to Lisa winning a Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance in 1992. The album peaked at No. 5 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and featured three Top 20 R&B hits.

While Lisa continued to tour extensively and perform as a backup vocalist The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner and Luther Vandross, Lisa Fischer tickets became available as a lead vocalist in 2010.
