Enjoy professional golf with LIV Golf Invitational Series tickets. The Super Golf League, which is debuting in 2022, is holding a series of golf tournaments with the name LIV Golf Invitational Series. The Super Golf League is owned by LIV Golf, which is aiming to compete with the PGA Tour. 

The plans for a league to rival the PGA Tour was announced in the autumn of 2019. Former retired Greg Norman was named CEO of the Super Golf League in October of 2021. As a golfer, Norman was ranked number one in the world for 331 weeks. He is the two-time winner of the Open Championship.

On March 17, 2022, an eight-game schedule for 2022 was announced, with total prize money in the league’s debut season of $255 million, per Greg Norman. Differing from the PGA Tour, each tournament is a 54-hole event with no cut. The 48-player field will be divided into 12 four-man groups. The tournament will begin with shotgun starts, which is where players from all teams will tee off simultaneously.  

The first seven tournaments will each have a total purse of $20 Million. In addition, a $5 million bonus will be split amongst the top three teams in each tournament. The final event in the series will have a $30 million total purse and a $50 million total bonus in team prizes.
