Following her work on the show, Cassidy competed in the Francouvertes Festival songwriting contest. Her collaborative song with Stephanie Boulay and Philemon Cimon received the festival’s Paroles & Musique Award. That same year she contributed to Cimon’s song “Ca va Ca va,” which was nominated for the prestigious SOCAN Songwriting Prize.
