Loverboy tickets have been a hot commodity in the eyes of rock and synth-rock fans since the 1980s. Loverboy burst onto the music scene in a way most can only dream of. The band made their live performance debut in 1979 when they opened for Kiss at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia. Less than a year later, the group signed a record deal with Columbia Records of Canada, as they had trouble getting a deal within the United States. The joke was on American record labels, then, as Loverboy’s debut album sold over a million copies in Canada and two million in America in 1980. The group’s debut single “Turn Me Loose” remains one of their most popular to this day.

It wasn’t until the group’s second album Get Lucky that their smash hit “Working for the Weekend” was released. In 1981, the year that album was released, Loverboy received a record of six Canadian Juno awards. Incidentally, the popularity of Loverboy tickets saw a bit of a resurgence after “Working for the Weekend” featured in the hit 2001 comedy film Zoolander.

While “Weekend” was a big hit for the band, their third record “Keep It Up” did just that, with lead single “Hot Girls in Love” continuing the band’s success. The band hasn’t stopped since and has continued to etch their way into the consciousness of music fans. Another standout moment for the group was when they wrote and released the United States Team theme for the 1984 Summer Olympics, which they titled “Nothing’s Gonna Stop You Now.” The title applies to Loverboy’s career as well, as they continue to perform and engage with adoring fans to this day.
