MarchFourth Marching Band Concert Tickets
See one of America’s leading marching bands with MarchFourth tickets. MarchFourth is a musical performance group from Portland, Ore. They play a combination of instrumental funk and rock music, accompanying performances by stilt walkers, acrobats and hoop dancers. They take their name from the date of their creation in 2003.
The MarchFourth Marching Band consists of a horn and percussion section along with electric guitarists. They are known for wearing mismatched marching band uniforms on stage, and for their unique sound which fuses elements from genres as diverse as ska, klezmer and hip hop music.
After only a year of shows, MarchFourth was voted Best Local Band by both Willamette Week and Travel + Leisure, and they have since performed across the world in China, France and Germany, among others. They have toured with a number of high-profile artists including Blink 182, Fleetwood Mac and KISS. MarchFourth collaborates heavily with Gwen Stefani in particular, as the singer has often made use of marching band instrumentation for her solo albums. Their songs have seen widespread use in film and on television, most notably in smartphone commercials and in Monsters University.
