His career began as a writer for Adult Swim, where he wrote lyrics and rapped for a slew of parody pieces on programs like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sealab 2021 and Space Ghost: Coast to Coast.
In 2004 Ward left Cartoon Network to pursue a music career in earnest, originally rising to fame through his work as a member of the nerdcore band The Lee Majors. He has since released a number of solo studio albums, most notably Eating’s Not Cheating, Dungeon Master of Ceremonies and MC Chris is Dead. He continues to tour to a devoted cult following.
