The Warriors participate in the Northeast Conference and are members of the NCAA Division I.
The Merrimack baseball program started in 1980 and joined the Northeast Conference in 1985. One of the team's best years was 2018 when the Warriors won the Northeast 10 Championship and advanced to the NCAA East Regional. The Warriors finished that season with a 31-21 record. Former Warrior Brain Murphy took over as head coach in 2021. He graduated from Merrimack College in 2003 and was the former team captain of the baseball program.
