They debuted with the EP The Sacrifice of Love the following year on Pinball Records before they landed a deal with Drive Thru Records.
After signing with Drive Thru, the pop-punk outfit released their debut album, Save the World, Lose the Girl, in 2000 to acclaim from fans and critics alike. The album shot the band into the spotlight in the scene, gaining attention with their emotional melodies and impressive vocal harmonies. Their success landed them their first major-label deal with MCA Records for their sophomore album, Living Well Is the Best Revenge, which landed them at No. 90 on the Billboard 200 with “Become What You Hate” and more fan-favorite songs. After signing a new deal with Columbia Records, the band released the emo hit “Give It Up” which appeared on their album, Forget What You Know.
