In 1977, they performed the Nutcracker for the first time. Simon Dow became artistic director in 2000, instituting the Company’s famous international choreographic competition, Genesis. The ballet currently has forty-four dancers and eighty-three musicians. They now perform at their home at Oita Bank Dome, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
