The first concert was held in 2007.  The music concert typically has around eight acts performing sets, including multiple national acts.

The first headline act for the concert was the rock supergroup Velvet Revolver, which consisted of guitarist Slash, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Matt Sorum from the band Guns N Roses along with rhythm guitarist Dave Kushner of Wasted Youth and Scott Weiland, the former lead vocalist of Stone Temple Pilots. Other national acts that performed on that show include Evanescence, Fuel and Buckcherry.

Past and upcoming artists include the heavy metal band Disturbed, which was established in 1994. Band members include lead singer David Draiman, Dan Donegan on guitars and keyboards, John Moyer on bass and Mike Wengren, who plays drums. The band has released more than five studio albums, some of which have debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.
