The promotional video which accompanied the release of 'Frijolero' featured a skilfully rotoscoped image of an exchange of racially loaded insults during a meeting at the US and Mexican border between two groups of men. The video caught the attention of the mainstream music industry and won a Latin Grammy at the 2003 award ceremony.
