In 2001. Mumiy Troll performed on behalf of Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest, where they were a top fifteen finalist. The group’s burgeoning popularity saw them enjoy success in film, contributing songs to a slew of Russian blockbusters, most notably Nightwatch.
In the mid-2010s Mumiy Troll set off on a world tour on a 19th-century sailing ship, then performed at several prominent events like the South by Southwest Festival, Zandari Festa and the Visual Japan Summit.
