NBA Summer League Tickets

NBA Summer League Basketball Tickets

Watch future NBA stars compete with your NBA Summer League tickets from TicketSmarter. NBA teams have been getting together to play scrimmages for as long as the league has been around. It wasn’t until 2004 that a structured league with a set competition was established. The first Summer League was held in Las Vegas. It has since grown to be the premier league for professional competition in the summer.

In addition to the Las Vegas Summer League, there is the Salt Lake City Summer League. Only four teams compete over the span of three days. It serves almost as a warm-up for the competition in the Las Vegas Summer League. While the Salt Lake City Summer League is being played, the California-based teams host the three-day California Classic. In 2019, the Miami Heat joined the Warriors, Lakers, and Kings for the short exhibition tournament.

The majority of NBA Summer League tickets will be for the Las Vegas Summer League. All 30 NBA teams participate in the ten-day-long tournament. Occasionally, international teams send over a group of up-and-coming prospects to take on the NBA’s junior competition. Teams play four preliminary games to determine to seed for the tournament. Eight teams qualify for the single-elimination tournament. A championship MVP and league MVP are named at the conclusion of the NBA Summer League. Brandon Clarke took home both honors when his Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves during the 2019 edition.
