See future major league stars in action with Normal Cornbelters tickets. The Normal Cornbelters are an amateur wood bat summer baseball team from the Bloomington-Normal metropolitan area in Illinois. For most of their history, the Cornbelters competed as a professional team in the independent Frontier League, though joined the Prospect League as a collegiate team beginning in 2019.
The Cornbelters compete within the Prospect League’s West Division, where they play alongside teams such as the Quincy Gems, Cape Catfish and O’Fallon Hoots. Their home stadium is the Corn Crib Ballpark, and their team colors are green, yellow and black. The Cornbelters are managed by Matt Durkin and Andy Turner.
The team played its inaugural season in 2010, facing off against the Windy City ThunderBolts in their first game. The Cornbelters would go on to post a 44-52 record that year, with players Daniel Cox and Tyler Lavigne later competing in that year’s 2010 All-Star Game.
