As a member of the NCAA Division 1 and SEC, Oklahoma Sooners play against Alabama and Auburn.

The Bedlam Series puts OU and Oklahoma State against each other in football, basketball, baseball and wrestling. The series is played in either Norman or Stillwater, Okla., and rotates each year. The baseball rivalry is played at either AT&T Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City or at ONEOK Field in Tulsa.

The annual Red River Showdown is played against the University of Texas at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The game is played during the State Fair of Texas and tickets are equally divided between the two schools.
