The Orlando Pride finished their inaugural season with six wins. 

In 2017, the Pride began playing all their home games at Exploria Stadium in downtown Orlando. Five-time winner of the FIFA World Player of the Year, Marta Vieira da Silva, better known simply as Marta, was signed to the team. The team ended the regular season in third place and made the playoffs for the first time, making it to the semifinals.
