Rock the boat and keep punk alive with Pears tickets. Pears is a hardcore punk band from Louisiana made up of members Jarret Nathan, Erich Goodyear, Brain Pretus and Zach Quinn. The band was formed in New Orleans in 2014 by Pretus and Quinn in the wake of the breakup of their band The Lollies. They played their first show on Mardi Gras alongside the band Off With Their Heads, catching the eye of the Fat Wreck Chords label, to which they were promptly signed.
Pears released their debut album Go to Prison at the end of 2014 and soon found themselves touring with high-profile acts like Teenage Bottlerocket, Red City Radio and Lagwagon, among others. In 2016 they released their sophomore album Green Star, earning praise for their aggressive sound and sophisticated instrumentation. They have since played a slew of prominent events like Riot Fest and the Drop Dead Festival. Quinn, Goodyear and Pretus also occasionally lend their skill to the band Little Bags.
