Rising out of Isle of Man between Britain and Ireland, Penelope Isles is the sibling duo of Jack and Lily Wolter. They started making music together after Jack, the elder by six years, finished university and found his sister performing with bands. They joined together to create the band Your Gold Teeth but they broke it up when Lily moved to Brighton. Jack followed her to Brighton and they started Penelope Isles releasing their first EP Comfortably Swell in 2015.

As the group’s sound has grown so has the group itself with the additions of Henry Nicholson (bass) and Joe Taylor (drums).
