He moved to New York a little while later and was chosen to perform at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. There, he would be voted as a standout performer. He would go on to make his television acting debut that same year, on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns, where he lasted a whopping two episodes. This gave him various opportunities to travel and perform at over 500 colleges across the country for the next ten years. He began producing and editing his own shows in 2010, allowing him to receive his own web show, New York Minute: 30.
