They released their debut album, Dreams/Answers, in 1968 which set the stage for their massive follow up, Get Ready, in 1969. Their sophomore album was released on Motown Records was certified platinum and featured their popular performance of Smokey Robinson’s “Get Ready” which skyrocketed up to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The same year, the group contributed music to the soundtrack of the comedy film Generation including a number of tracks that were included on their 1970 album Ecology. They wowed audiences all over the world with their jam-filled R&B infused rock, with popular releases like 1971’s One World and 1973’s Ma.
