The men’s professional basketball team Real Esteli Baloncesto was established in 2018 and is a basketball section of the Real Esteli Football Club, which was established in 1959. The team debuted in the Ligo Superio de Baloncesto, or LSB, in 2018. The LSB is the highest level of Nicaraguan professional basketball.

Real Esteli Soccer Game Schedule
The North American Soccer League uses a split-schedule approach. Teams play from April through November with a four-week break in July. The playoffs take place in November with the winning team taking home the Soccer Bowl trophy. Teams are also eligible to play in the U.S. Open Cup, a tournament with every semi-pro and professional American club. The cup is normally a summer tournament taking place between early June and late August. NASL squads start in the second round of the competition.
