Beginning in just one building in 2012, this now three-day convention has been held in the Rhode Island Convention Center, Dunkin’ Donuts Centers, and Omni Providence Hotel, all located in Providence. The Rhode Island Comic Con has been held annually ever since. They reached their highest attendance numbers in 2016 when approximately 81,000 fans walked through the convention doors.

From the world of comic books, RICC has featured artists and writers like Neal Adams, Kevin Eastman, Rob Liefeld, Arthur Suydam, and Howard Chaykin.
