The MMA promotion Rise of the Prospects was founded in Tucson, Ariz., in 2017 by former UFC fighter Chris Cariaso and Jen Richardson when they moved to Tucson from San Francisco. The Rise of the Prospects promotion is one of the only promotions geared toward beginner and amateur competitors of all levels.
“Kamikaze” Chris Cariaso, who was born in 1981 in Tucson. He competed at flyweight in the UFC in the Flyweight Division, which is 125 pounds and accumulated a record of 7-6. He had also fought in other promotions, such as WEC, Strikeforce, ShoXC Elite Challenger Series and the Warrior Cup.
