Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Neil Percival Young was born November 12, 1945, in Toronto, Canada. He began his career in Winnipeg in the 1960s before relocating to Los Angeles and joining the band Buffalo Springfield. He also was part of the band Crosby, Nash, Stills and Young. His solo work has been critically acclaimed and he was released numerous award-winning albums.
