Nightgowns is a monthly drag show that began in 2015 at Bizarre Bushwick and National Sawdust in Brooklyn.

Velour truly broke into mainstream success by appearing in Ru Paul’s Drag Race season nine. They ultimately won their season. Velour’s rendition of Whitney Houston’s “So Emotional” in the season finale won the Performance of the Year title from The A.V. Club and “TV’s Best Musical Moments by Entertainment Weekly.
