The album was produced with the Coral Reefer Band in Jimmy Buffett's Shrimpboat Sound Studio. Kirby continued to write hit music and tour, releasing five more albums and in 2013 released Sol Searching, his seventh studio album. This one was special as it was in collaboration with Lew London, a Grammy-nominated musician.
