The American-based rock band, Sheer Mag, hails from Philadelphia, Pa. and combines 1970s punk and rock to create their own sound. The band consists of Christina Halladay, Kyle Seely, Hart Seely and Matt Palmer. They have also recruited additional members for touring and past performances. The band featured in the 2016 Coachella line-up and performed on Late Night with Seth Meyers the same year that featured other special guests like Sarah Silverman and David Alan Grier. They have released one full-length album, Need to Feel Your Love in 2017 and an LP, A Distant Call in 2019. 

Come out and enjoy their live performance with Sheer Mag tickets. The core members all attended State University of New York (SUNY) and moved to Philadelphia after graduating in 2014. That same year, the members moved in together and released their first EP on their independent label, Wilsuns Recording Company. In the spring of 2015, the band went on their first U.S. tour after receiving positive feedback. It surprised them to discover their music had caught the attention of Static Shock Records, a London-based punk recording label. This collaboration with the UK record label allowed the group to bridge-the-gap between their U.S. and UK fanbase. The band was featured as one of the “10 New Artists You Need To Know” by the Rolling Stone in 2015 and as well as co-releasing their second EP, II in 2015. This EP was co-released with the Brooklyn-based label, Katorga Works, but their third EP, III , released under their own record label and Static Shock in 2016. In 2017, the band’s label and Static Shock partnered to release a compilation LP of their first two EPs.
