Six Appeal was founded by Roll and Brookens in 2006 at Moorhead’s Concordia College. They performed frequently at campus events, and after graduating began touring as a professional ensemble based out of Minneapolis.
By 2011 Six Appeal had become a full-time touring act, performing in all 50 states as well as abroad in Russia and China. They released their debut album Plan A in 2013, followed by Ugly Sweater Party and Live, Pt. 1 in 2014 and 2019, respectively. Six Appeal has won numerous awards and accolades, including first prize at the Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival and the Moscow Spring A Cappella Festival.
Six Appeal has toured alongside high-profile acts such as Andy Grammer, Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald. They have performed at prominent events like the Sugar Bowl, Oscars Party and Chicago ACappellaFest.
